America’s Job Honor Awards founder Kyle Horn will provide unique insights into Iowa’s workforce crisis, proposes innovative solutions, and shares the moving stories of honorees who have overcome significant barriers to employment. Paticipants will,

- Understand why this workforce is insufficient to meet the current and future demands of Iowa employers.
- Learn the nature and size of Iowa's untapped workforce (disadvantaged and overlooked jobseekers).
- Understand the business case and moral case for sourcing and hiring disadvantaged jobseekers.
- Learn case studies of Iowa employers that have benefited from this progressive and innovative approach to recruiting.

Kyle Horn is Founder & Director of the Iowa Job Honor Awards, celebrating people who overcome barriers to employment and the employers who hire them. His passion is to advance meaningful employment opportunities for disadvantaged job seekers.
Launched in 2014, his Iowa-based initiative is expanding nationally under the banner of America’s Job Honor Awards.
