Presenter: John Monaghan, PDCM
John has been helping employers design and implement employee benefits programs since 1997. John serves as a consultant to public and private employers throughout the state of Iowa with specific emphasis on benefit cost reductions in light of the changing legislative environment. He is a recognized expert in the state of Iowa pertaining to health plan cost control through consumer-driven health plans with an emphasis on wellness.

There have been positive products and funding methodologies created by healthcare reform; from small group level funded options, to medical captives and increased transitions, to self-funded plans. Employers that think outside the box have benefited through these options that either came into existence or gained momentum after the ACA was passed.
