2018 Scholarship Application

The Cedar Valley Society for Human Resource Management (CVSHRM) is now accepting applications for the 2018/2019 scholarship. This year CVSHRM will be awarding two scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year: one for $1,000 and one for $500! The scholarships are not automatically renewable and the money will be paid directly to the Registrar’s Office upon the recipient’s proof of registration and attendance. The CVSHRM Officers will review the applications received by the deadline date of March 30, 2018 and make the final decision on the scholarship award.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the scholarship, an individual must be enrolled full-time for the fall 2018 semester at the University of Northern Iowa, Wartburg College, Hawkeye Community College, the Waterloo Campus of Upper Iowa University or Kaplan University. They should also have a declared major in Business, Public Administration, Communication, Psychology, or related field with an emphasis in Human Resources. In addition, an applicant must have attained Junior status, by the Fall 2018 semester with an overall GPA of 2.75 or above.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00pm on Friday, March 30, 2018
